White residence – remodelled 1960s apartment

September 5, 2010 by

The White residence is an apartment in Albuquerqe, New Mexico, built in the 1960′s and remodelled by John Anderson Architecture.

Incorporating a brown and white color scheme, this whole apartment has been given a luxurious make-over, updating it from its existing 1960s decor and brining it into the new millennium. With two living areas, one main room with an expansive sofa, the other with desk and two chaise lounges, the occupant will never be short of a place to unwind and relax.

The dining area, part of the open space kitchen, has a neat glass table with chrome and grey leather chairs. It looks almost like a modern boardroom. Throughout the apartment the furniture has the same style, free-standing chocolate brown units, which blend nicely with the dark grey floor tiling.

Besides the neat and modern interior, perhaps the most stunning feature of the White Residence is the panoramic vies of the New Mexico landscape from the bedroom balcony.
