True style is never boring, and there’s a good reason for that; it’s an expression of the wearer’s character — or, in the case of home decor, an illustration of the inhabitant’s deepest cravings in life. So today’s link roundup is all about expressions of personal style, from the bathroom to the attic… and, in one particular case today, both in one.

Furniture Fashion kicks things off with a mega-up-close look at ten variations of tile, from bathroom floors (above) to kitchen back splashes, all with an artistic touch.

Next, the trendsetters of CasaSugar treat us to a mashup of fashion and home decor in their side-by-side couture/creature comfort image gallery, including this comparison exercise between a Suno dress and a set of Marimekko bedding:

Elle Decor walks us through a stunning series of converted attics — mostly bedrooms, but also this sleek bath room — space intended — perfect for finding a little zen and literally feeling on top of the world:

Elsewhere on the web, the darling decor8 got a complete (and quite cute) makeover last week, thanks to illustrator Samantha Hahn and the web-minded folks at MWA Design

…and last but not least, the thoughtful souls at Remodelista offer a piece on textiles with a conscience — perfect for the eco-minded home dweller looking to spruce up her digs.
