Project Decor Launches June 2012

Individual tastes run the gamut from stark minimalism to extreme decadence, and we say whatever makes you smile belongs in your home, period. So, today’s roundup is all about style in its many interpretive forms.

First up, an innovative website called Project Decor launched earlier this week, offering a Polyvore-style platform for gathering home furnishing and decor elements and pulling them together into digital inspiration boards like the one above.

Casa Sugar walks us through the process of stealing the look of Sofia Coppola’s recently-sold Nolita apartment with cool blues and creams and cultural touches:

Furniture Fashion shares an electrifying roundup of 10 pieces of both retro and contemporary neon wall art, like this whimsical sign from Brigitte Kowanz:

Elsewhere on the web, Sanya Arts Space offers a quartet of style ideas for a converted attic…

…and finally, Little Green Notebook shares a dark, chic little post about the in-your-face sophistication of black walls.
