The HA House by Geneto is a modern Japanese interior design with a unique arrangement of shelving and open storage options throughout the house. Almost everywhere you look around the home there is a space of some kind where items can be stored.
Made from simple plywood, the furniture seems to literally grow out of the walls and ceiling. There is a flight of stairs, which goes up to a small office area, where one can look down on the bedroom and living area. Its the base of this office area which is actually the storage space for the downstairs rooms, wide expressive shelves which protrude outwards.
The whole furniture arrangement – staircase, bookcase and wall units – act as a partition between the bedroom and living room, and can be used for showing off ornaments as well as storing household items.
Imaginative and unusual, this storage solution for small homes gives the rooms added functionality, whilst maintaining a unique and stylish look.
