This unusual futuristic apartment is designed in a unique way with asymmetrical shapes. It was featured for the “I can see” exhibition which took place in Odessa in October 2010, and is an example of how our apartments may look in the future.
A mixture of grey and white with subtle touches of the red, the apartment uses LED lighting to great effect, with slimline ceiling lights and light strips on the walls – a contemporary technique which we have only seen develop in recent years.
The furniture in the apartment – the shelving, wall units and desk – appear to have no order, as though the lines and forms have been scattered in a surreal composition. It’s this imaginative use of asymmetrical lines which make this futuristic apartment design all the more complex and unique.
