This sumptuous penthouse apartment in Greenwich Village, New York, by SPG Architects takes on simple white, brown and grey earthy textures, complemented by warm and natural tones of the furniture and seating.
Depending on the quality of light durng the day, the off-white of the walls glow and changes tone over the course of the day and into the evening. All of the furniture, accessories, art and lighting in the apartment were chosen in order to provide a simple yet cohesive design, an environment which binds each room together.
A soft beech is used throughout the apartment, on the floors, the dining room table and the kitchen furniture, adding more light to the whole apartment. Outside on the terraces one can enjoy views of the Manhattan skyline whilst relaxing on the sofas or enjoying a meal.
