Taking pictures is so effortless these days. There are no huge cameras to lug around for the average person. All it takes is a cell phone, and in some cases, an app for special effects (like Instagram, which can give photos an artistic, retro feel).

Those pictures shouldn’t stay bound to your phone or your computer, but with so many you’re dying to show off, you might have to get creative.

Sketching out a shape and filling it in with photos works just as well as a frame and there’s no hassle of finding a frame the ideal shape and size. The Blog Is Found demonstrates with photos from her Fujifilm Instax Mini, which are all the same size and shape and work much like Polaroids.

If your photos are all printed out and you have nowhere to put them on the wall, use counters, shelves, and other flat surfaces to display them in glass jars. Rikki Hibbert has made brilliant use of glass jars and bottles she would’ve just thrown out.
