OK, fine, mates. We admit it. We’re fully ensconced in the throes of full-blown Olympic mania. Along with that, of course, comes a passing obsession with all things English; our tea consumption is up approximately 9 million percent around here, and we can’t stop saying “Cheerio.”
Likewise, we’ve covered a couple of British decor topics lately — the Union Jack sofa from Zuo Modern, the plethora of “Keep Calm and…” accents popping back into popularity — and we couldn’t help but feature one last roundup of pieces worthy of pause during this little English phase of ours.
Not only does Zuo Modern offer a Union Jack sofa — there’s also an accompanying armchair:
The top image in this post, by the way, is of a traditional range cooker by Falcon emblazoned in its own British pride… and the object that started the whole Union Jack craze to begin with, according to most sources, was created by Miss Mustard Seed in the form of this dresser:
And thus, we end things right back where they started, just like any good English fairy tale worth its weight in scones.

Wow, the Olympics are sure great for British economy. People are finally paying attention.
Love Miss Mustard Seed’s DIY dresser. Pretty cool!
