At home with Piero Lissoni

June 24, 2011 by

Designer and architect, Piero Lissoni, has an insight into what styles function best for people. With an art for the subtle, the neat and proportional, Lissoni’s interior designs and home furnishings are legendary.

After gaining a degree in architecture at Milan Polytechnic, Lissoni went onto work for Boffi Kitchens as in house Art Director & Designer. In 1986 he formed Lissoni Associates with Nicoletta Canesi, then in the 90s, Graph.x, an industrial graphic design company.

Lissoni’s most notable projects are his complete designs, from offices, private residences, showrooms, hotels and even yachts. His most recent projects have included the Al Porto hotel on Lake Zurich, the Mitsui Garden Ginza Hotel in Tokyo, Monaco & Grand Canal in Venice, Bentley Design Hotel in Istanbul, and a luxurious resort in Miami.

It would seem that whatever Piero Lissoni turns his hand to, whether it be furniture designs, luxury bathrooms, dream kitchens or full scale interiors, he has a knack at being successful. Here are 10 of his best home interiors, furniture designs and seats that he has produced over the years.
