Seating

Modern seating by SZADO

June 23, 2011 by

Contemporary furniture designers, SZADO Design, produce wonderful and creative seating styles. Although the seats are mostly minimalistic in appearance, they lack nothing in imagination. You’ll notice how each chair resembles its given name.

The Roadster, Speedster and Grand Prix are so vehicular-like they look as though they’re missing a steering wheel. The Pope, Noel and Ladder are unique tall slimline seats. With its high reaching tail, the Scorpion is perhaps the most obscure chair. As designer barstools go, the Pagoda and Annie stools would look splendid in any modern winebar or nightclub. The Luke, Acorn and Icon are simple, yet abstract designs.

The majority of the chairs are built with brushed stainless steel frames and covered in leather or ultrasuede upholostery. However, the Origami is available in a maple or walnut veneer, and the Spyder is crafted from two-tone birch plywood.

Unfortunately, SZADO Design no longer produces furniture for the retail market, but do encourage inquiries about custom projects.
