This unusual seating design is named Flying chair and is the creation of Phillip Grass, an almost surreal chair with a futuristic appeal.

Manufactured from carbon fiber and finished with chrome for the base, the bends of the base and arms are severe, and the contrasting blue and chrome makes for a very masculine design. The seat is made from fiberglass, paint, foam and PU coated fabric, and sits perched on the sturdy base.

An unusal seat, the Flying Chair looks like something a movie villain may sit in whilst he makes his demands to the world. The perfect seat for having in front of large windows, to just relax in and take in open panoramic views.
