From Paris design studio Inga Sempé the Chantilly sofa is an unusual and flamboyant style of contemporary seating which is best at home in a grandiose setting.

The fabric is loose-fitted and the folds give the effect of a sumptuous ball gown. Chantilly is a modular seating system, whereas the components come apart into individual seats, and halved, can create two sofas to go alongside walls.
