A chair and a half is an awkward name for what is a very comfortable place to sit down and relax. It’s a chair that is wider than usual but narrower in design than a loveseat.
If you are someone who always keeps her back straight and feet firmly on the floor when sitting, this is not the piece of furniture for you. However….if you like to put your feet up, tuck them under you, and bring some pillows into the mix, then a chair and a half will fit the bill quite nicely.
This chair and a half is made from micro suede and comes equipped with pillows. It can double as a couch in a small space and makes a great place to read and relax. This is a great option for a family room or casual living room.
We like the idea of furniture that should be lived in, and we do like to curl up on a couch, as opposed to keeping our feet down, so this look is definitely appealing to us.

Some of these chairs come equipped with a matching ottoman, to encourage putting your feet up after a long day. (If you have limited space to work with but want to be able to welcome overnight guests, consider using it in place of an extra bed.) This fringed style has a very elegant look, but you can find options that will suit a more casual decorating style.
