Vertical walls gardens – natural environment for interior walls

As homeowners are looking for greener and more eco-friendly design solutions for their homes we are seeing more and more natural concepts, like the Green Living Kitchen we recently featured, products and design which are not only environmentally friendly but also have a natural presence.

Designed by Daryl McCann of Lombardi Design, a landscape architctural firm in Palm Beach, Florida, Living Walls in an innovative idea which replaces standard wallpaper or paint with plants which cling vertically to the walls.

There are 10 steps to create vertical garden to establish this natural environment in your home. Obviously something like this takes a lot of planning and maintenance, so many people will find they don’t have the time to care for such plants, but this style of wall planters are ideal for cafes, bars and restaurants, a novel design style which will be the envy of other establishments.
