Tiburon Pellet Stove: Keep Warm and Change the Style to Suit Your Mood

October 26, 2012 by

The Tiburon Pellet Stove is a very interesting product, and if you are looking for a way to keep heating costs down this winter, you may want to consider investing in one. Besides being small and easy to operate, these stoves are less likely to generate smoke than a standard wood stove.

This particular model is solar adaptable and comes with an internal battery. It measures 41″ in height, 17″ wide and 23″ deep.

The Tiburon Pellett Stove also won the 2010 Vesta Award for Hearth and Home, but that’s not what captured our interest in this product. A homeowner who buys this stove can change its look in just a few minutes. Your pellet stove can be an accessory in your home that you can coordinate and change when you update other features.

Would this feature make you more likely to buy a pellet stove for your home? We can remember when a wood stove was available only in basic black and they were functional but unsightly. This is a sleek and (in comparison) attractive unit that would blend in much better in a modern home.

According to the manufacturer, changing the vent from a standard louver to an Art Nouveau style takes about 10 minutes. The bottom panel can be switched from a metal look to natural stone in about five minutes. If you have 40 minutes to spare, you can give your pellet stove a complete makeover.

What do you think? Do we really need to be making over our pellet stoves to match our decor, or is this makeover simply a case of makeover madness?
