The world’s slimmest 40″ LCD TV is the Bravia ZX1 from Sony. It measure just 9.9mm at its leanest point, literally the width of a DVD case.
Sony released the TV in August last year, and it has been growing in popularity ever since, with 2009 promising to see it as one of the most popular choices of TV in modern living room designs.
The biggest selling point of the Bravia ZX1 is that it’s wireless, so no more unsightly cables, leaving you free to position it anywhere within the home. It can be used on a stand or fastened to the wall.
Picture-wise, it boasts Sony’s exclusive Motionflow 100Hz with Image Blur Reduction, which makes fast-moving pictures clear and smooth so that you don’t miss a detail, delivering the picture in extreme clarity.
Sony Bravia ZX1 features:
1080 Wireless Motion flow 100Hz,

BRAVIA engine 2,
24p True cinema,

Live colour creation
