Riding a bike should be simple, but unless you live in a house with a safe place to keep your bike, trying to be healthier and better to the planet (not to mention richer because you’ll spend less in gas) comes with the problem of where to stow your bike when it’s not in use.
Chaining your bike to a rack or leaving it outside leaves it vulnerable to the elements and thieves. Taking it inside can cause problems because you may feel obligated to mount it to the wall and not feel too crazy about that idea.
Jeff Skierka’s bike rack (still in the prototype stage) allows you to make your bike like a piece of art. It holds onto the front or back wheel and holds it in an upright position—no holes or scrapes in the walls necessary from mounting it up high.
