Designed by French architect Pascal Grasso, this black and white modern living room is part of an monochrome contemporary apartment in Paris, with the unique feature of an installed landscape of blocks across the ceiling.
This system of blocks on the ceiling are more than just an artistic effect to enhance the modern look of the living room design, they are actually there to conceal functions like lighting, air-conditioning, sound system and ventilation.
The room has two flat screen TVs mounted onto the walls – a large one for the sitting are and a smaller one which can be viewed from the dining table. An unusual coffee table with L-shaped blocks matches the composition of the ceiling blocks.
Black and white interiors are extremely popular with contemporary interior designers and architects who wish to create a balanced and harmonious home for their clients.
