Whether you have just moved into a previously owned home or you have inherited an apartment that has unsightly nail holes, there is always the job of patching up the holes to “fix” the appearance of the wall. What if there was a way to bring attention to the holes creatively and at the same time create a place to hang your keys or purse?
Leaf Cover is a creative solution of replicating a plant growing from the ground but also has a functional purpose of covering previous holes and creating a simple hanging solution.
From designer Jung Hwajin comes a smart solution to a common household problem, nail holes that aren’t aesthetically pleasing and often detract from new artwork that is displayed. Made from silicone, each cover has two shiny leaves that appear real in nature.

“Design which brings new vitality with leaf growing out from the wall…. By covering the nailed place with leaf cover, it is possible to grant the feeling of new life growing from the wall. In addition it is possible to grant various usability such as… picture frame hanger, etc…”… Jung Hwajin
Aside from the functionality of the Leaf Cover, you could also utilize the leaves to create a design on your wall. Your imagination is key and your wall can become a ‘living wall’ of beautiful greenery and add whimsical appeal to what could have been a boring wall.
Hwajin has taken a common household challenge and turned it into a design focal point of your interiors. Homeowners are always looking for great ways to transform their everyday home into unique spaces that they can call their own. The Leaf Cover is a perfect example of modern design combined with creative thinking to enhance your most loved areas of your home.

I wouldn’t use to fill the odd hole because it’s a bit “out there,” but the concept is cute and could be a cool way to decorate a small bare area of a room or to complement a photo or artwork nearby.
I’m not for it, because as fresh as it is, it somehow gives the impression of warts, a growth that shouldnt be there.
