Glass Features are a Thing of Beauty in New Entry Doors

October 23, 2012 by

Is your entry door looking a bit shabby? With the Festive Season getting closer, you may want to spruce up the front of your home with a new door. It’s a great way to update the look of your home, and these options from Masonite give you lots of variety.

Choose a style of door you like first, and then select the type of glass you would like to compliment it. With the number of options available, you may find it challenging to stick to settle on one style for your home. Your side door may need to be updated too, you know…

The Belleville AvantGuard cherry door has a beautiful reddish finish. Not only does it provide a similar look to fine furniture and hardwood flooring, but this door has the same durability as fiberglass.

Craftsman steel and fiberglass doors offer traditional styling with a large top panel and two lower panels. Choose from Fir, Oak, and Smooth fiberglass finishes.

Brise glass is a new option in door fashions that features an opaque, silkscreen design. This option has a Privacy level of 7.

Cuzco is another glass option offered by Masonite. It features dark gray accents, and a modern textured pattern. This option has a Privacy level of 8, and has a triple-pane construction.

Would you like a lot of glass in your entry door or do you like a more traditional look? The new styles do have an energy saving coating on them, and they are meant to stand up to the elements.

It’s always nice for guest to knock on a glass door, as it provides a peek into the host’s home. it helps with preparation and to see if activity requires louder knocking.
