When you think of outdoor furniture, do visions of wicker, rattan and teak pop into your head? The creative minds behind POLaRT (named for the “ARTistic” way in which the brand uses POLymers”) are turning that preconception on its ear with their wacky, bright updates on interior classics. Its outdoor collection boasts some eye-popping, super-saturated pieces that, without the proprietary upholstery process through which POLaRT makes its wares, would look like any traditional chair or ottoman.
Much like a fresh coat of paint can give a room a new lease on life, apparently, a good bit of injected polyurethane can do the same for individual pieces of furniture.
