Given that we support reinvention in general from a creative standpoint, it goes without saying that we’re big fans of intelligently upcycled materials. And given that we love a good glass of wine, every once in a while we’ll go off in search of inventive storage solutions made from the unlikeliest of objects.
Today, we’ve rounded up five distinctly different things, all of which share a common theme: the film reels, snow skis, oak barrels, reclaimed wood and vinyl records shown in this roundup all ended up getting a second chance at life in the form of wine racks.
From the three-up function of Uncommon Goods‘ snow skis, above, to the riddling rack put together by R Christopher Designs rounding out the lot, there’s something here for the outdoorsman, the music lover, the film geek, and the eco-conscious seeker of salvaged wood; if they all got together to share a few bottles of red under one roof, just imagine what a fascinating conversation that could be.
