In kitchens with limited space, it’s imperative to have workhorses that can perform several tasks. Collecting several smaller gadgets will lead to cabinet disarray or counter clutter that makes it hard to actually cook.
Out of sight, out of mind kitchen equipment may also equate to wasted money, as a simple food processor, juicer, blender, or ice cream maker could be forgotten once it’s tucked away. Two kitchen gadgets that won’t easily be forgotten because they perform several tasks that make food prep and nutrition easy are the Omega juicer and the Vitamix blender.
The Omega 8006 Juicer, shown here, is the newest in the 8000 series from the brand, and there are minor differences between the 8000 models. For example, this one has a harder auger. They function the same and come with 10 to 15 year warranties.
Its primary function is juicing, of course, and since it’s a masticating juicer, the juice will retain optimal nutrients, antioxidants, and flavors.
In addition to making it simple to get a daily juice fix and meet fruit and vegetable requirements for the day, the Omega 8000 series juicers can make nut butter, grind coffee and spices, mince garlic and herbs, and create ice cream-like desserts from frozen fruit.
Easy clean-up means it can be used heavily without much hassle, which is a must for any gadget that deserves counter space.
The Vitamix blender (the 5200 Deluxe Kitchen Set is shown here) works as a high-powered blender and hot soup maker (toss in raw ingredients and let it go). It even makes nut, rice, or soy milk.
The dry container makes it possible to make flour from whole grain, mix batter, grind coffee, and prepare dough. Vitamix blenders have a five-to-seven-year warranty.
Kitchen gadgets can be worth the amount of space they take up when they’re hard-working, multi-tasking, and reliable.

That juicer/grinder looks like something out of Star Wars. Does it shoot lasers too?
