Cooking Light: Sun-Drenched Kitchens

Few things are as comforting as a warm, sun-drenched kitchen filled with the heavenly scent of something baking. In fact, that’s generally the reason the blinds are open and there’s a fresh-from-the-oven plate of cookies in almost every realtor’s office; it makes nearly anywhere feel like home.

Today’s trio of images takes things to the next level with glass-enclosed lantern roofs, letting the sun shine in and illuminate all the culinary efforts that take place within.

We’re betting potted herbs stand a fantastic chance of flourishing in a kitchen with so much natural light flooding in at all times, and something tells us most dishes taste at least 10 percent more delicious.

So, bon appetit; feast your eyes on this.
