This innovative stylish kitchen table is by Olga Kalugina, an industrial and product designer from Ekaterinburg, Russia. With the ability to expand like a Chinese fan, this table can greatly enhance the workspace in the kitchen.

Ideal for small modern kitchen designs, the user can alter the table configuration, with access to the triangular boxes. The right and left table sides are drawers for food and the drawer covers can be turned upside-down to be used as preparation boards.

When compacted together the table has a distinct futuristic look, the legs angled inwards to create a kind off balance look. Some parts of the table are crafted from transparent plastic, so the user can see inside the drawers from above.

This one of a kind kitchen table claimed the 7th prize in the International Design Award in 2009.
