Zero Shift – sliding two-piece table design

July 17, 2010 by

Zero Shift is an oval diagonal sectional table, made from two symmetrical mirrored forms which slide together to create one contemporary table. By sliding the two pieces you can arrange configurations and sizes depending on the layout of your room and the way you wish to use it, either as a coffee table or a bench.

Made from mdf and finished in a smooth lacquer, Zero Shift has a hollowed out interior which can be used for storing items, such as magazines or place mats. Designed by Takeshi Miyakawa, Zero Shift is perfect for white minimalist interiors, be it in a living room or as a bench elsewhere in the home.
