This custom furniture collection is designed by German craftsman Valentin Loellmann, a modern unusual furniture collection, with a design which combines traditional style crafted from contemporary materials.
The collection consists of a coffee table, a chest of drawers and a free-standing cabinet. Each piece is unique and made from old Bankirai wood reinforced with polyester skin.
Bankirai wood is a deep rich chocolate brown with a smooth, very subtle grain. The contrast with the white polyester skin gives the pieces a nice two-tone appeal of light and dark.
The tall slim legs of each piece of furniture are intricately carved, giving the pieces a gothic and almost surreal look, like something out of a Tim Burton movie.
