Stereovision – surreal table inspired by 3D glasses concept

April 13, 2011 by

Looking at this table make one think they’re suffering from double vision, or first impressions are to reach for the 3D glasses to bring the design into focus.

Designed by John Nouanesing, Stereovision is obviously inspired by the distorted vision one has when watching a movie or playing a game which relies on 3D glasses to give in that added extra dimension.

The table is actually two tables, made from red and blue opaque perspex, placed at disjointed angles to give it the double vision effect, making it a total of eight legs altogether. A simple base is then added on top to give impression it is a solid form which has blurred out of focus.
