For those in the market for a bed as wild as the dreams they experience while sleeping in one, the mad hatters at Animi Causa — purveyors of strange and interesting gifts and home decor — have come up with the rather unorthodox Feel Seating System.

In essence, it’s a connected series of soft, plush, ball-shaped cushions presented in long rows held together by a web of plastic joints. The Feel is designed so that the rows can be configured into a number of different variations, creating more or less cushion and bounce as desired and effectively giving its inhabitant the feeling of lounging in a hyper-comfortable, personalized bounce house.

Interestingly enough, Animi Causa counts L’Oreal, Google, EA Games, ABC News and UNICEF among its customers who have purchased The Feel, perhaps as a green room staple or high-end lobby fixture. In any event, this conversation starter is sure to get at least a second glance wherever it stands, if not a third, fourth and fifth.

Approximately 6 ft wide by 7 ft long when fully outstretched, The Feel’s cushions are made of foam, covered in stretch fabric and available in red, blue, brown or grey.  A smaller version is also available through the same company.
