Let a Floating Bed Rock You to Sleep

October 15, 2012 by

If you love the idea of falling asleep in a hammock, a floating bed may allow you to enjoy that sensation every night. Floating beds that hang from the ceiling or other structure can be used indoors or outdoors for a soothing sensation that lulls you to sleep and helps you relax.

You can even add elegance and a romantic vibe by letting a canopy drape down and over the sides of the bed.

If you’d like to try your hand at making your own, there is a Lowe’s tutorial that shows you what you’ll need and how to build it.

I wonder if the gentle sway would make you feel nauseous? Looks lovely for an outdoor nap!

Those look beautiful, but I don’t think I could give up my bed! It has a remote so I can get in that perfect position and sit it up like a couch if I want.
