Incorporating three activities – sleeping, reading and playing – Child’s Play by Yusuke Suzuki is a giant kids’ play mat which has layers to reveal a story book with pages. These can also be used as covers, meaning it can double up as a bed. Many small children will happily play away until they fall asleep on the spot, so Child’s Play is ideal as it means they don’t have to be transferred to their bedroom.

The overall design, when opened up, looks very large – too big for most kids bedroom designs, but like a normal sized book, the covers can be closed, instantly halving the overall size. This makes storage a lot easier, so it can be brought out when friends come to visit and play.
