Whoever said environmentally conscious living has to come at the expense of style was sadly mistaken, judging from the influx of upcycled, recycled and otherwise eco-friendly finds turning up in the world of home design and decor.
VivaTerra, a marketplace dedicated to inspired green living, offers an oft-updated host of thoughtfully-curated furnishings and accents with a promise to remain conscious of making as little a negative impact on the earth as possible.
Its Mosaic bed and cabinet, for instance, is made from reclaimed barn wood and pulls together a rustic aesthetic with lines “composed like a Mondrian painting” — i.e., tonal, painterly and elegant yet accessible. The bed is available in queen and king sizes, and the cabinet measures 19″D x 24″W x 26″H.
Offering a broad array of furniture and accessories as well as clothing and gifts, VivaTerra operates out of Pueblo, Colorado.

I’m not impressed. Sorry. Really, i go for warm tones, not monotonous shades of brown combined from rotting wood. Eco should be friendly too.
