While you may own a favorite pair of shoes to make your feet look fabulous, have you ever thought about giving your bed or couch some new “feet”? With the onset of furniture designers exposing the furniture legs or feet of beds and chairs, this has presented the idea of stylishly decorating this forgotten design element. “Prettypegs” are decorative legs that can dress up your IKEA furniture and they are the brainchild of Jana Cagin and Mikael Söderblom.
“Replace your IKEA-legs with a set of customized Prettypegs and add some colour and playful elegance to the room.”… Prettypegs.
Their tagline is “Shoe your furniture” and what better way for your bed or chair to get dressed up or down for your next entertaining event? Are you throwing a seasonal party with a themed color palette? Choose one of the eight colors and available and coordinate all the way down to the feet! From wood finishes to colorful two-tone varieties, your IKEA furniture will be “dressed to the nines” in Prettypegs.
These stylish furniture legs would also be ideal for dressing up white furniture that has a very simple style and for adding extra flair to a bed that is sneakily showing underneath of its bedskirt! Prettypegs are like a peek of color that will add beauty to any bedroom in your home.
‘Super easy to swap after season, socks or cocktail guests. Designed and produced in Sweden.’ … Prettypegs
So the next time you are preparing to throw a party or even give your interiors an affordable makeover, think of changing out your IKEA bed and chair legs to Prettypegs.
Whether you like a modest teak wood design or you want to be more daring with a bright fuchsia that looks like a killer pair of stiletto heels, the choice is yours. Your furniture will look great and it actually may enjoy feeling more “dressed up” for guests.
