The Lady X bathtub is the collaboration of three designers and architects, Giovanni Ronzoni, Luisa Frigerio and Fabrizio Proserpio for Italian bathroom designers, Axolo.
A perfect blend of modern and natural, the Lady X bathtub is built from a sturdy wooden base and sides, and topped with a satin stainless steel coating. This gives the bathtub a very sleek two-tone effect.
The tub can either be set inside a platform, which creates a large step, or it can stand alone. The bath filler is massive, appearing almost robotic-like, and can be fixed at the top or the side of the bathtub. It also has a simple shelf and slimline headrest at the end.
This contemporary style of bathtub may seem a little cold and impersonal to some, but with the right choice of bathroom decor and sanitaryware the Lady X can takes its pride and place as a stunning centrepiece in a modern bathroom design.
