Genesi Tandem Program

Shower baths have been popular for awhile now, usually as a p-shaped bath with an electric shower fitted to the wall and a bath screen used to protect the outside from water. With the Genesi Tandem we have both complete – a stylish shower cubicle fused into a free-standing tub. This not only boasts a completely unique look it is also extremely practical, and helps save a lot of space in the bathroom.

The structure of the shower cubicle is made from chromed aluminium, the hinges brass chrome and the glass is 6mm safety glass. The shower trays are manufactured from high-density polhyuretane, a light yet extremely stiff material. The surface is kept completely waterproof by the special lacquer and totally resistant to mold.

The bath whirlpool system creates a continuous flow around the body. The jets are hidden from view by grooves on the side of the bathtub in a position that directs the air-water mixture from the bottom upwards. This is in accordance with basic massage rules. The effect gives a feeling of being encased by air bubbles.

The Tandem is designed by Francesco Lucchese, who is a member of the Architects Professional Association Board of the province of Varese, Italy and a lecturer of “Urban design” at Technical Professional School of Canobbio (Lugano), Switzerland.
