Bathroom Sink Designs That Aren’t All Washed Up

October 1, 2012 by

The bathroom sink is a standard feature that most of us probably don’t give a lot of thought to. We’re all familiar with its basic shape, but there are a number of different configurations available. Would any of these capture your interest or is a more traditional style more to your liking?

This metal chalice vessel sink measures 15″ in diameter and 9″ tall. (The faucet is sold separately.) Along with the Golden Bronze interior finish shown here, it is also available in two other choices. This is a special order item, and no two sinks are exactly alike. It is a striking piece for a refined interior space.

Kohler’s Briolette glass sink has a lighter look. The design was inspired by the way precious gems are cut. This style is meant to sit on the countertop in your main bathroom or powder room. The sink measures 17 1/2″ in diameter and is 4 3/4″ high.

This may look like a water slide, but it really is a sink. The water flows down from the tap through the wavy shape of sink’s design before flowing down the special grate positioned under it on the floor.

We can see this sink being something of a curiosity for first-time guests in your home, and you may have to find a way to distract young children from thinking they should be running the water to create a water slide for their toys in your bathroom.
