One never gets a second chance to make a first impression. That said, a front door provides the first glimpse at a life lived inside any given space, and for those of us who don’t simply want to blend into the masses, easily forgotten, a bold color is a no-brainer.

Since red doors traditionally equal good luck in Asian cultures, turquoise and pink are the feminine colors du jour in modern society, and color-blocking has been all the rage in both fashion and home decor over the past year or two, we’ve rounded up a quartet of eye-catching front doors to spark a little inspiration… and embed themselves in your memory.

While it’s true I love a red door, that pink is pretty amazing! The turquoise is nice but makes me think of Miami. Very eye-catching.
