If there is ever a better time to celebrate color, it is when spring and summer are at their high season. From colorful blooms outside to inspiring colors in interior textiles and wall color, who doesn’t love shots of big and bold color?

For those of you who can’t get enough of eye-catching hues set your eyes on The Saguaro Palm Springs Hotel in California. Inspired by 12 different native color tones found in the local desert wildflowers that are found around it, take a closer look at this hotel that hosts a bouquet of gorgeous color!

The colorful palette of colors was masterminded by Architects Peter Stamberg and Paul Aferiat who transformed this former Holiday Inn into a welcomed colorful backdrop against the sandy dessert surroundings.

The design team from Stamberg Aferiat Architecture was given the task of infusing color into the property. Using the 12 native wildflower color tones makes the hotel an inspirational conversation piece as well as a sought after resort location in Palm Springs.

“The brilliant colors now adorn each balcony and patio and anchor the guestrooms, while also enlivening the indoor and outdoor public spaces. The color set follows the light spectrum, which in turn creates different perspectives of the hotel according to the time of day.”… The Saguaro Hotel

When staying at a hotel, there is nothing like feeling like you are transported to another space. The Saguaro Hotel is a creative marriage of colorful forms inspiring a mood of whimsical relaxation and enjoyment.

Similar to a child in a colorful candy store, The Saguaro Hotel reminds you of a colorful summer Popsicle ready to be enjoyed and remembered for the rest of the warm days ahead! Bright pops of color don’t have to be confined to interior spaces, and when they are included amongst nature, what a treat it is for everyone who visits this dessert hotel.
