The Greenbo Railing Planter Makes Home Gardens Possible Without Sacrificing Space

February 3, 2013 by

There are countless conveniences to living in an urban environment, but extra space to have a garden is not one of them.

Using deck or balcony space is a possibility, but since there may not be enough of that to spare, growing one’s own plants for food or beauty there may not be worth sacrificing the space that could otherwise be occupied by chairs, a table, or a grill.

The Greenbo Railing Planter takes the plants off the floor and onto the rail without the risk of knocking it to the ground with the tiniest bump.

Because they come in a variety of colors, including red, orange, gray, off white, black, turquoise, and white, they can be mixed and matched as you wish to create a more tranquil or cheerful environment.

These planters fit rails from two to four inches, and they’re made of durable plastic that can withstand UV rays and water damage.

Those are seriously adorable. Do they come in any other materials like steel or clay?

  2. I would love to get some of these planters. Stairs lead up to my home’s front entrance, and these planters would be a great way to dress up the railings.

Will they work on both skinny and regular width railings? I see it fits a big wooden rail, but what about a skinny metal fence-style rail?
