The 2010 collection of wallpapers by contemporary wall covering experts, Rasch, is one that explores both the modern and the vintage. Whilst some are super modern and refined in their style, others are more abstract and retro.
The vintage designs are similar to popular wallpaper from the 70s, using vivid colors and abstract patterns. Retro interiors will always be popular with those who have fond memories from those eras, and are great for nightclub and winebar designs.
The modern wallpaper styles in the collection have more subtle tones and are more conservative, designs aimed at the more luxurious interior designs. These would also work well in new apartments and condominiums, the City range being aimed at that market.
When decorating a room at which point to do we choose an imaginative wallpaper? Before planning the layout and buying furniture? Yes, the walls are always a good place to begin when designing an interior. Walls, floors/ceiling and furniture will be the three main elements, so consider them all when first planning.
