Designed by ONY Architecture this unusual twisted staircase appears as though it were formed from paper like an origami design.
Using a number of different shapes for the bannisters, each piece of wood is four-sided. The wooden structure has three sets of stairs – the bottom flight, a middle section with only one step and a top flight to reach to the floor above.
Great for small confined spaces where the layout calls for a mobile staircase which needs to be added easily. And, of course, wherever it is placed it gives the environment an unusual, yet contemporary feel.
