The Le Soleil suspension lamps by Foscarini were designed by Vincent Garcia Jimenez, a designer originally from Valencia who now plys his trade in Italy, where he has a studio producing innovative lighting products and furniture.
The Le Soleil lamp is suspended by three wires with the cable exposed in the middle. It’s made of polycarbonate and available in a choice of three colors – red, white and aquamarine. The polycarbonate material for the lampshade does not allow light to escape, which creates a luminous effect. Beams of light shine upwards and direct illumination downwards into the room, creating a soothing ambience.
