Entirely hand-lathed, the prototypes – which were unveiled at Thread recently – were crafted in wood, but Golly Pod will be available in ceramic once it goes into production. Painted white, the planters have a distinctive alien-like appeal, uniquely sculpted with a cyclops like eye where the plants protrude.
