Manufactured from bone china, the Goliath lamp shade is crafted into a giant sized skull. Suspended from above, the skull floats in mid air, glowing from within to highlight the cranium, eyes and nostrils.

Designed by UK designer, Alex Garnett, Goliath makes one instantly thinks of gothic interiors, a lampshade perfect for a halloween theme.

Creepy and mysterious, its the exact way the skull is hung which gives it a real esoteric look, slightly tilted downwards as though the head is bowed, which could be read as any number of expressions and postures.

As seen from the pictures below, the Goliath lamp works best against a black background, making it glow more and seem more alive.
