Eco friendly 3D wall panels made from sugarcane residue

March 21, 2011 by

Some months ago we featured 3D wall panels made from bamboo, here we look at a similar concept, but this time the panels are made from sugarcane residue.

This collection of eco-friendly wall panels are by UK company 3D Wall Panels. Except for the renewable materials used the designs are very similar in appearance, with stylish and expressive patterns which add a real depth to the walls. The raw material used for the production is the fibrous residue which remains after sugarcane stalks are crushed to extract their juice.

Easy to install yourself, the eco 3D wall panels are 50 x 50 cm, and when fitted together they form a repeating pattern which plays with shadow and light. Perfect for futuristic interiors, this new and exciting concept in 3d interior wall decoration is an innovative way to replace paints and wallpapers which are less environmentally friendly.
