Wall art can be created inexpensively and completed in just a few hours. Perk up a bedroom, hallway, living room, kitchen, or any other room in the house with just a few materials, and you may surprise yourself by how well they rival professional prints.
Silhouette art uses pictures of family members in motion to create a collage of photos. You can also cut out images of birds, trees, or whatever else you’d like to set on a background of text. Reverse silhouettes done with plastic greenery on a blank canvas are another possibility.
Playing off of those techniques, you can make beautiful wooden wall art with the scrolling patterns from a doormat.
